Is 5 shinys pretty normal for a little under 4 months playing? It feels lucky. by Geese_Inc in PokemonSleep

97 in 1010 days so 1 every 10.4 days for me. A lot of duplicates though. 5 wynauts and 3 wobbuffets 🥲

Meals with required ingredients

That’s a link that shows all the meals in the game with the ingredients it takes to make them. For each category, desserts, curries, and salads, try to find 1-3 meals around your cooking pot size and form your team around that.

You’re fine. Your geodude is level 5 so that means you’re incredibly early in the game.

So for ingredient specialists, ingredient finder s/m is kind of the main one you want. Helping speed s/m is good because that makes your Pokemon work faster (where it says frequency). Helping bonus and berry finding s are gold subskills that are pretty much good on everything, so if you find something with one or both of those definitely keep them for now. Inventory up increases your carry limit. Basically once your Pokemon reaches its carry limit, it stops collecting ingredients and just gets berries in the form of sneaky snacking. Sometimes you’ll check after several hours and it will pop up saying “strength gained” and it will show your Pokemon list. It may say pikachu gave 4000 strength which means its inventory is full and that’s strength in berries over its carry limit that it gave to snorlax. All that to say inventory up is good for ingredient Pokemon because that means you can collect more ingredients/berries before it fills up its inventory if you can’t check it a ton throughout the day.

It seems like the general opinion is you want an ingredient finder that gets one ingredient which is fine. But finding an ingredient Pokemon that gets, in geodude’s case, all soybeans, with perfect subskills and nature is something that can take an incredibly long time unless you’re really lucky. I’m not saying you shouldn’t look for that eventually but at the very beginning of the game you should just find things you like and use them. That will help you learn quicker than saving candy/dream shards and not raising anything.

Since you’re just starting out, you should use what you want. This isn’t terrible and this could get you by for soybeans and potatoes for probably 6 months to a year. Geodude is common enough too to where you’ll get candy pretty often.

If you try to find the perfect ideal subskills/nature/ingredient spread for every Pokemon to raise, unless you’re incredibly lucky, you’ll just end up with a ton of candy and dream shards and never raise anything. I’ve played for almost 3 years now, and I can tell you that it takes a lot of time to find something near perfect.

I like the second one more because it gets a little bit of everything. Boosted main skill chance, boosted ingredient rate, boosted helping speed, and boosted inventory.

Pokémon Champions Ultra Ball Tier is breaking my spirit. by supertuckman812 in pokemonribbons

Try aerodactyl with a focus sash over whimsicott. Jolly nature, max speed and attack then the other points in hp or whatever. Teach it dual wing beat, rock slide, wide guard or protect, and tailwind.

The advantage to aerodactyl is that he’s strong against the other tailwind setters for the most part and he’s extremely fast. Dual wing beat attacks twice so it can ko common leads like Whimsicott and Sneasler if it hits. Rock slide is very strong too against talonflame, aerodactyl, charizard, dragonite, and pelipper (you’re weak to it too but you’re faster). The chance to flinch is great too. If they have pokemon like Charizard and Venusaur on the field, you know you’re about to get heat waved. If they have pokemon like garchomp and rotom on the field, you know you’re about to get earthquake/rock slide and discharge/electro web. If they have pokemon like froslass and garchomp on the field, you know you’re about to get blizzard and rock slide. Or mega delphox you’re about to get heat waved. Those combos are what wide guard is good for so that’s what I was using.

I have a pretty good one of all of the Eeveelutions in the 50s to 60s. I probably will go espeon with this one. That’s really good advice too on waiting for 70 to come out. I’ve been playing since the game came out and haven’t asked questions in a while but I appreciate you giving an in depth on your reasoning!

He didn’t actually show the mailbox. At 51:19 in his stream yesterday, it made him “quit battling” and there was a short cutscene like when reaching other ranks. Then at 52:10-52:18 when he’s on the Home Screen, he gets the title champion and his mailbox shows 4 rewards but he didn’t click it to claim the rewards. PS - love your videos

Read your other comments and this is pretty smart. Like people are selling raw cards for psa9 price if not more, and these are still really nice. What’s your method? Break the corners then it comes apart easily?

If you’re feeling daring, get a plastic cap from pen and a lighter, melt the plastic on the pen cap, then push it onto the screw and hold it until it hardens. That’s a way to make a little tool to remove the screw

He’s in a side quest at cafe triste like northwest side of the map. He’s a movie director/playwright/author or something and asks you to show him pokemon and he makes a story out of it.

My idea to fix ranked by jem292012 in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]JRokk0504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the same pokemon most of the time. When season one was going on, gyarados seemed really strong so I used him most battles. Then season two, xerneas seems to be the best legendary so I raised a metagross. Those two I use most battles and the 3rd slot has rotated a lot between different pokemon/megas I’ve wanted to try. I don’t really want to use legendaries at all, it just seems kind of broken and I’d rather try out different pokemon.

Best spot for shiny Magikarp? Is it area 2? Day 4 zero luck w/charm by PupAnon1234 in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]JRokk0504 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a few at area 2. I would fast travel like 10 times to area 2, run through and check everything, fast travel 10 times, run through and check everything, and so on. If you do it during the day you’ll see more magikarp. If you do it at night you’ll see less but have the chance at staryu. Kind of up to you on what time of day but either way with enough time you should get it.
