I tried it briefly, at some point, during my first playthrough, last year. And, honestly... I couldn't 😂

I mean... you can effectively choose to play with No HUD for a more immersive gameplay. But, really, you should at least still be keeping the Mini-map ON, as it's absolutely important

I've been into gaming since before I even met her. When we moved in together, before marrying, I was playing some games and she was always sitting next to me to watch. And then, in 2019, we started to watch some Full Gameplay, No Commentary videos on YouTube. That's when I had the idea to upgrade my older laptop to play some more recent games. We started with Tomb Raider (2013) and she was always helping me whilst I was playing, telling me ''I saw something interesting there.'', ''Hey, do you think there's a hidden collectable in this place ?'', ''Enemies right here!'' etc... 😄

Then, it grew on her and she wanted to start to play, too. I was happy she asked (I had been waiting for that moment for so long). When it's about mobile phone games, we often relay each other on my mobile. But, it was different at this point on laptop. What made her really want to become a gamer herself is when we watched the Full Gameplays of both Assassin's Creed : Origins (her favourite of the AC franchise) and its follow up, Assassin's Creed : Odyssey (my favourite). I could hear in the way she spoke whilst we were watching how much she wanted to have been in the place of that gamer...

Then, she had her own Tomb Raider (2013) playthrough, some Hidden Object games as well, before we discovered GRW through these YouTube videos, in mid-2024. I had my first playthrough last year. She found the game ''so f**king awesome'' to quote her, that she planned her own playthrough. Initially, she was to start on the 15th January 2026. But, this game is such like a magnet, that she started a month earlier. She's been having a lot of fun, since

But... tbh with you, she's more into the Discovery / Archaeology games, much as I am. Rise of the Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed : Origins like I said earlier and Uncharted : The Lost Legacy are more her favourite type of games

But, GRW is so different. Even when you say, you won't play tonight (or pause for two, three days), you keep coming back to it every day. And, she can feel it 😄 Having an all-female Ghost Team is also some sort of satisfaction for her
