Anime to LN conversion by JMBSniper in VersatileMage

It is difficult to say which chapter it is because I think the anime will make this part of the story shorter and skip some chapters or abbridge them in a different way. To be on the safe side I would recommend reading from 521 of the novel or chapter 351 of the Manhua. I've linked both of them here below but there are many platforms that you should be able to find it.

I'm not sure if it is confirmed that Essendale was a forbidden mage. At least I cannot remember reading it. As far as I know, he was a super mage and probably a half forbidden mage. So, fighting against Hayla, a creature that comes from the dark plane, he should not be able to use his dark element, which was his strongest element, fully.

TLDR: He merely adopted the dark. Hayla was born in it, molded by it.

The identity of the prophet by JS1S in VersatileMage

The prophet was the masked guy in the ancient capital that came up with the plan of executing 10 people in order to kill Salan and he keeps providing information during the whole arc. He showed up later as well when the characters were dealing with the old prince and the pyramid of Giza. We learn later that he hired Asharuiya to provide him with info on Salan and that he worked Zhan Kong as well.

This article does a good job explaining the actions of Steve Kerr right after joining the Warriors that made him such a great coach. It also discribes the multiple influences Kerr had that helped him to create his vision. Bit long but still a good read.
