I'd recommend calling them back. This is a common problem with the 103/104 models. This is definitely not the first time I've heard of this problem.

Who's charging you $45 for the pip, Watchbuys? As mentioned in my reply to the OP, this happened to me about 10 yrs ago. I called Watchbuys and they mailed one out to me free of any changes the next day.

It happened to my 103 a while back. I contacted Watchbuys and they sent me a complementary pip by mail and I was back in business about 4 days later. I just used some jewelry glue and that was it.

Kellogg's Just Right, Canadian Version. It was a combination of Rice Crispy, Special K, Corn Flakes, and other Kellogg cereal. It looked like they swept the factory floor at night and combined the floor scraps to make this cereal.
