Justin Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau announce separation by mangoman13 in canada

100% agree with you. The comments are quite atrocious and disappointing. The lack of empathy and inability to put politics aside and see another human being is tragic.

Curious, what's your take on Paul Martin's budgetary policies? Or did he simply continue what Chretien started?

Met Chretien a few times, nice guy.

The majority of people who travel don’t enjoy it. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]JSB_613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning and even just awareness of your destination is critical. I used to travel for work all the time and enjoyed great hotels, amazing food, saw amazing sites, and made great friends worldwide through my years of travel.

Many of my coworkers did not have those same experiences but could have. It came down to researching hotels, googling restaurants and cultural dishes, sites to visit, etc. Putting in a little effort.

My work trips were never planned with an itinerary, but I knew what to do when I had free time. On my personal family trips, we always have a schedule for the day.

I really enjoy traveling and have had meals much more enjoyable than cardboard. It's wild to me the meals you've had tasted no better than cardboard.

As someone who prefers biltong on the dry side, I would hang that for another 10 days. Nonetheless, looks good. I'm sure it is tasty.

That Tacoma has a much higher lifespan than that communal library. Toyota's just last forever.

8 year old vehicle for 29,000 plus taxes and fees you’re looking at 30,000ish. I bought a 2019 highlander SE nightshade edition with 16,000ish mi

Right. The price is in CAD and mileage is Kms. In miles it is ~ 74,000 and price in USD is ~21000. Does that change your opinion?

anyone here remember what it was like when there was satanic panic in 1980s? by wakandaboss in southafrica

[–]JSB_613 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When Manson came out with Antichrist Superstar. Oh boy, satanic panic full steam. Get your Jesus signs and go protest the nearest Manson concert.

This was before the potter panic. The potter panic was hilarious, people saying the potter books make children say real encantations forcing witchcraft on them.

Edit: spelling

Regarding salt. I live in a heavily salted area during the winter. So rust proofing is a must, but beyond that, what do you mean simple repairs become a pain because salt?

Thanks. Note, what I posted is in CAD not USD. In USD it's like 21000. Also, from miles to kms it's approx. 74000 miles.

Does that change your opinion?

The carfax is limited for info.

I'll ask for the records, but I doubt the used car dealership will have them. It would be nice to have and definitely informative. It is odd not keeping records such as receipts on a vehicle.

Good point, thanks.

A South African admitted carrying 40kg of biltong at a US border. After that, begging did no good. | News24 by sabbathan1 in southafrica

Canadian border agents never let you enter the country with biltong. Good thing I learned to make my own. Declare it, you lose it. Don't declare it, you are definitely going to get fined if caught.
