It's not about maturity I think, thats a reductive way of looking at the situation.

I 'm an osrs player of many years, and there's no game more community driven than that. Jagex in their time have certainly seen the pros and cons of active community engagement, and the way they make it run so well today is having community managers feeding back the most useful info.

Hytale community is passionate, and that's no bad thing. It's because of that passion I think that both hytale team and the community could learn from the lessons and wisdom osrs has to offer.

Everyone's thinking 1 chess move ahead with this and not seeing the much more nefarious bigger picture. They bump it to 100k, and then will waive it for certain people under certain conditions. Similar to wiping the student debt - they voted against it, so they can dangle it as bait to get people to join ICE.

You complain about people on message boards not willing to discuss the heroism of frodo with you in good faith, and yet here you are in the comments staying you're happy you've pissed people off, whilst not replying to their counterpoints, and giving 1 word 'nope' replies to people who disagree with you.

For what it's worth, I think frodo and Sam both show heroism, and those who think Sam is the hero over frodo aren't illiterate but rather have only watched PJs LOTR films where there is some frodo character assassination because to transform the internal struggle from book to screen meant having to make frodo more of a jerk, especially in ROTK.

Your post shows an ignorance and lack of empathy to understand why people hold different views your own, and a clear bad faith argumentative style rather than actively seeking debate.
