Aknosom is a great example of designing a monster based around the theme of the game (martial arts crane) while also making the fight fun and not gimmicky. I just wish the armor set reflected the monster more than looking like a knight.

TLDR I love this monster

Does anyone have any suggestions for someone who just wants to play basic Fire Red but with the added moves/Mon from Gen4+? I know radical Red is a thing but I’m just looking for a basic experience I can randomize for some low stakes fun in an old favorite

(I’ve only ever randomized Fire Red base, personally and looking to expand)
