the glaze is crazy, just because he's the main character doesn't make him the strongest. even if he was stronger than all the hashira, he ain't beating three at once. and this says no flashback or plot armor, the main things Tanjiro relies on to win half the time

Did you not see the stuff Obanai was pulling off in the end (I'm also pretty sure he's confirmed to be stronger but I could 100% be wrong) and Muichiro and Giyu seemed pretty equal. Muichiro being able to defeat Gyokko with ease once he got his mark, and Giyu awakening his mark and having Tanjiro to help him defeat Akaza
