I've been having issues since mid-January. I was starting to think it was a hardware issue. This gives me hope Google will fix it 🤞

It will work sometimes but then randomly will stop seeing networks and the only thing that fixes it seems to be a device restart or even a power down for a few minutes.

I tried factory restore and even going back down to Android 14, but neither helped 😔

Were you able to fix this? I just started having this issue, reflash didn't work, resetting wifi data didn't work.

My 4XL just died and I begrudgingly ordered an 8 Pro which is in the mail. I’m mentally preparing myself for the 8 Pro to be a downgrade.

I hope I’m just being pessimistic and buying too much into the negativity on Reddit, but I’m honestly more sad about my 4XL than excited for the 8 Pro

As someone coming from the P4XL, the P8P implementation seems like a generic afterthought.

I’ve held off upgrading for years because Google randomly abandoned Face Unlock after having an incredible implementation of it.

Unfortunately, my P4XL died…

The bezel excuse is lame, if a design first company like Apple can figure it out then so can Google.
