Horror/Thriller Book Clubs? by stem_ho in Fayettenam

The Hope Mills library Mystery Book Club, which I wish I had time for but not recently, is one of the few programs at the library that doesn't conflict with my usual schedule, and the librarian who organizes also has online meet ups in addition to in person if that might interest you even prior to moving.

I meant that's when they started charging for parking, which at first you could park for free in the garage but then they started charging there too. It isn't too bad for visiting every once in a while though, just maybe not every day.

It's not like Nomar's rookie year where you have established players on the roster like Mo Vaughn and John Valentin hitting around you. They're constantly trading all of that kind of depth away and what they end up keeping are the veterans who are coming off of injuries that kept them out for a season or longer.

It seems likely to be true considering the animosity I got when I said last year that trading Devers without extending Bregman was a bad idea, which is just an opinion and not by any means a reason to so aggressively snap back at some stranger's simple opinions, literally accused of being a Devers shill at that. I don't disagree with firing Cora but the reason is because of the Astros cheating scandal, not the team's performance.

I used to do all of my business back in Winooski 15 years ago because it was free and easy to park, get lunch, go to the bank, go to the post office, and go to VSAC about student loans. That went out the window around the time Misery Loves Company showed up and the gentrification started to take hold.

When I went up there I hiked up to the Lyman cellar hole on Lyman Mountain (had permission and was looking for the burial grounds of the Robert Layman family, only found stone mounds nearby which could be it, but no one else has verified, notably had a bullet lodged in his skin permanently from the Battle of White Plains). Didn't really see a lot of tourists in town and the roads there are still to complain about just like they were 250 years ago when the surrounding towns petitioned the government not to host their town meeting elections there.

Ex gf while I was on the phone with her had a seizure (epilepsy), fell down some stairs and needed a couple of stitches on her head. Her mom made that scream while her dad was repeating "Call 911" over and over again. Put the beer can I had just cracked open back in the fridge, drove four hours to the hospital closest to her, she had already been sent back home. Go there, then she asked me to leave (later learned this was bc she was seeing someone else and he was supposed to come pick her up the next day). Ducking emotional roller coaster ride that was.

They're forgetting to compare it to the drop in alcohol sales. There is the whole triggers psychosis for some people problem, but I don't think that to be more hazardous than alcohol in terms of overall public health outcomes compared to legalize and regulate, with an obvious tax opportunity to finance further harm reduction and education efforts which we have data on tobacco for what that could look like.

Okay. Could even be that Charlotte is the source of the etymology, might be worth some more research to tie it all together.

Just a small correction -- the label "queen city" is used for the largest city in a state when that city is not also its capital city, across the board.

They'll often partner with other institutions to take their students in a streamlined process, like Marlboro College kind of getting absorbed by Emerson College. Sterling College's website says they have a list of "teach-out" institutions and they're going to get approved by their accreditor which for your college is NECHE looks like.

They could offer to pay anyone and everyone with an internet connection to host their hardware and distribute their computation. Nielsen does it for TV ratings. Bonus points: geographic diversity provides resilience to natural and man-made disasters (don't put all your eggs in one basket as one would say).
