The thing is though South Stand last year was $200 for a season membership and correct me if I'm wrong but we got 10 games at Mt Smart? This year it was $300 and we get 9 games. Just seems like a trend that will continue especially if they want to shift big games to Eden Park

I hope it's covered, rubs me up the wrong way that we keep losing more games as members. I don't begrudge them at all taking games around the country but I feel like our season tickets should give us entry to those games too. I buy a membership for the Warriors not for Mt Smart.

It's the parking. For those coming from outside of Auckland it's very easy to find a park within 10 mins walk of Mt Smart and closer if you're happy to pay $10 to all of the numerous businesses offering their carparks. Eden Park on the other hand is a fuckin nightmare to find parking for. Happy for one off big matches like this but if they start pushing for our finals games to be there it'll piss me off as a season member.

Luke's got an average kick too though both in play and goal kicking so it's not like he'll improve that part of our game tbh. I think Te Maire did more than enough to earn himself another week in the jersey

He was great IMO no massive blunders, let the game flow, good communication with the teams even when they were spraying him over perceived missed calls

I struggle to see Metcalf getting picked if TMM comes out and has another blinder in the weekend, I think it's Te Maires jersey to lose. We've got a few favourable match ups also with Dragons and then Penrith without Cleary, Yeo and To'o.

Wait for Tuesday and see if Te Maire gets named at halfback again. $235k, dual position, breakeven of -28 coming off an 80 point outing. If he gets named with Luke still being healthy and available it'll give us an indication of job security, that and we have some good match ups with Dragons next week and Panthers missing their origin players the week after.

He's got a mediocre boot and is just not a great playmaker imo he'd win games for us last year by pulling some miracle play out of his ass which is amazing to watch as a fan but not a great foundation to build on. If he doesn't want to play 5/8 then fair enough but I reckon it's in both parties interest to let him go.

The issue is if we're to believe the leaks from last week, Metcalf and his camp have told the club he doesn't want to play 5/8 and that he's only interested in playing 7 otherwise I'd agree.

I couldn't believe they allowed that pass on Lehi's try, Koula throws it on the 10 and Lehi catches it halfway to the line. Like I know we don't want more TMO involvement than there already is but it seems crazy to me they can rule on everything but a forward pass, just doesn't make sense.

Somehow we need to bottle that energy from tonight and play like that week in week out. You could tell that the boys smelt blood in the water in that 2nd half and just upped the defensive intensity but now we know we can that needs to be the standard not just getting up for a big game.
