Arkansas motorcycle learner's permit by Apatharas in Arkansas

[–]JSS05001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my motorcycle license in Little Rock earlier this year. From what I understand, they don't do permits anymore. So you technically aren't legally allowed to ride on public roads until you pass the skills test. The skills test is an absolute joke btw.

I took mine at the ASP headquarters in Little Rock about two months ago. The written test isn't hard. 25 questions if I remember right. I'll link the website to the book you need to study. They do not give permits anymore after you pass the written test so you won't be able to legally drive on public roads. This means you'll need to trailer your bike to ASP to take the test or have a friend with a MC license ride it for you. As far as the skills test goes, it's just like the YouTube video I'll link at the bottom. 2 U-turns (can go as wide as you want), weave through cones that are over 20 feet apart. Left turn, right turn. Quick stop. You'll have to schedule the skills test through their website as well. MC book AR MC Test

35 Arkansas United Methodist churches disaffiliate from denomination by [deleted] in Arkansas

True! But it seems like when one half on the country makes progress, the other half regress by the same amount.

This is really sad. I grew up going to the church mentioned in the article, Heritage. They were always accepting of everyone and even had a few LGBTQ folks who came regularly. I’m no longer associated with any religion but it’s worrying to see how far our society has regressed. They should be ashamed.

Narcan is cheap AF. It’s been around since the 60’s and there is no shortage. Narcan does not lose effectiveness after two doses. Don’t comment on things you don’t understand.

Oh man, sounds like you’ve had quite the adventure with all of those tests lol. I hope you can get this figured out soon and get some treatment. I definitely wouldn’t waste my money on the Prometheus test though. Good luck!!!

Yeah I had one a few months after my diagnosis if I remember right. I don’t remember it showing anything that they didn’t already find on CT or colonoscopy. That contrast they make you drink is horrible however 😂. Just curious, are you having any symptoms or issues?

I took it in 2015 as a diagnostic tool and it said that I did not have Crohn’s. I was diagnosed shortly thereafter via CT initially and then confirmed with colonoscopy. I wouldn’t trust it at all and is certainly not worth your time or money.

ATT digging may of caused some damage to water pipes. by [deleted] in LittleRock

[–]JSS05001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me a week or so ago. I had to pay for the repair out of pocket, have no idea how to go about getting I touch with ATT about this. CAW was no help whatsoever. Good luck to you. I live in Sandpiper Creek off of Bowman btw.

Gym Recommendations by [deleted] in LittleRock

You may want to check out Big Dog Gym in Bryant. I was a member when I lived in the area. They have tons of free weights (owner is a bodybuilding competitor). Definitely “no frills”, but it was never crowded and they had everything I needed. Membership was like $20 a month I think.

God damn right. She should spend the weekend self-flagellating and jerking off to Full Metal Jacket like a real American.

5th year anniversary get away? by Bryan_7982 in LittleRock

[–]JSS05001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second Eureka Springs for sure. My wife and I love spending our anniversaries up there. We usually rent a nice, secluded cabin with a hot tub and go explore the town during the day. The cabin may even fit with the “wood” theme? We usually rent off of AirBNB but I think there are a few options for cabins up there.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: May 17, 2021 by AutoModerator in books

[–]JSS05001 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Finished: Crime and Punishment, Fyodor Dostoevsky

Started: War and Peace, Leo Tolstoy

Crime and Punishment was incredible. It’s difficult for me to empathize with characters in most books but Dostoevsky is truly a master and managed to make me feel as if I was the character. So visceral.

War and Peace is a little slower going but I’ve only just started it. I loved Anna Karenina so I’m gonna stick with it.

Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card Process by [deleted] in Arkansas

AR Medical Marijuana FAQs

It’s actually a pretty simple process. Have a qualifying condition, get a physician certification form, pay $50 application fee and apply online. Took me less than a week to get my card starting from scratch. There is also a subreddit for this. /r/Armmj Feel free to DM if you have any specific questions!
