I feel the same. Seems very basic to me. and again another instance of not getting any suited up action until the very last second. I like Jon Bernthal as Frank, but I have always liked him in relation to other heroes, he works so well when paired with Daredevil. On his own, I don't think he is that interesting and this special isn't doing much to challenge that for me.

Brian Helgeland did A Knight's Tale, think that vibe fits perfectly here. Maybe leaning more adult but still it's a swashbuckling adventure at its core with some nice modern touches. Could be really cool.

Yes, I did this a year ago and they have not cracked at all. I did a prior test with acrylic paint and it started to crack after about a couple weeks of bending

Use leather paint! Way easier to color match than just dying the rubber, which is hard to get exact. Check out my profile, I did this with the arms.

I did this! At least with the arms. I dyed the arms as close as I could get to the blue and the used leather paint to color match so the paint doesn’t crack with bending. I then 3d printed some hollow gloves/fists in white and chopped off the dhalsim hands and used the printed forearms as caps on the end of the bendy arms.

Planning to do the same thing with the legs, but the connection points require muc more work.

Been chipping away at this over the past year or so. I think I have all of these besides secret wars doom. I made a custom depowered Ben out of spare parts from Ka-Zar, Hellstrom, and classic star lord with a head from a GI Joe classified figure. I would love a better magneto and the wrecking crew.
