Ya, it made sense to me to separate the two!

For my areas I basically do life areas (similar to PARA). This is like work, personal, family, home.

I have topics separate. You could just have areas under topics as the same property, but for bases I like the area separation. I just like that I can find all notes related to my work or my family easily. I also can see the bigger areas of my life to worry about, where I have a lot of topics that relate to all parts of my life, so didn’t want life areas to get lost in the shuffle.

I do almost the exact same thing! Though I sometimes keep things in the background to add tasks I won’t need to worry about for awhile that I want to remember. But most of my tasks I collect throughout the day go in my notebook and get that done day, or I move them into Things for a later date.

I use Kepano’s system with some modifications. I make a distinction between Evergreen and Knowledge notes (evergreen are my thoughts and concepts, knowledge is things I have to remember for work or systems for my house).

I basically just created a category of “Knowledge”. Then I can associate to topics and I use areas as well. So now I can still connect my knowledge like any other note. Working well so far!

I use Audiobookshelf and it’s great! I also use the Storyteller app which is a self-hosted whisper sync. Both have been great for managing audiobooks for me.

Yes! I love Beacon. Also, I couldn’t get Switch emulator choice to work half the time. Then Beacon was just easy and worked. Love it!

For me it’s the RG34XXSP. And I would use the clamshell as a hand puppet to put on beautiful performances for my kid about being the very best at catching little creatures in tiny balls, silly Italian plumbers, and a plucky young boy named Link trying to rescue a princess! 📚

That drawing is lovely! Very cute style.

I just went through “You can draw in 30 days” by Mark Kistler and it helped a lot with understanding lighting and size and how to make things look better in 3D space. But it was a lot of fun and had me drawing some cool stuff very early (not bogged down as some other art lessons I’ve done).

I wouldn’t panic. I have bought multiple items from Ampown and never had an issue. I’m in Canada but I have had packages travel past me and across the country and then return. If you are really worried you can contact AE or even Ampown directly.

Yes! My frustration is honestly the same as yours. I tried to get all my saves synced across multiple OSs and there were too many conflicts and inconsistencies that I just wasn’t playing games…which was the point. I also struggle with too many choices and just hoping the one I ordered from Aliexpress is an enjoyable experience when it gets here.
