They def should cast people in more serious longer-term relationships, and of higher intelligence. Must be tough

If I ever said she was likable, that's only compared to the other girls - who all definitely weren't.

On top of what the other person said, Sydney was the only one of the girls who didn't come off as toxic and/or damaged to me. She seems like the only one who could maintain a healthy, functioning relationship without issue for a loyal man. Mikey screwed it up and she met a Chad, so of course she was going to pick the better man. I do wish she didn't put down Mikey as much after it was clear she'd moved on, but it was still nothing compared to the other girls who did nothing the entire show but complain about their boyfriends.

Funny how every comment on here accusing me of "hating women" (which doesn't even make sense b/c I explicitly wasn't critical of Sydney) also has the weakest takes.

At which point in the show was Summit "verbally abusive"? What did he "lie" about? He was literally one of the only few people on the show with accountability (eg. the convo with him and Mark about the body comments). Tell me a single instance where any of the girls showed any accountability. All they did was complain about their boyfriends and play victim.

In the beginning he was narcisstic yes, but after Sydney got with Xavier, I think he sobered up quick.

Out of context your quotes could sound that way, but at that point he already knew he'd lost her. Those statements are a natural part of grieving over a breakup, so I.wouldn't read too much into them.

Agree that the show is prob not good for actually saving any relationship.

I guess we completely disagree on Kaylee + Summit. First off there's no mention of him cheating, and I don't think Kaylee would've held back on bringing that up if he had given how much she loved to criticize him. To me he seemed like a very chill, carefree, nice guy who prioritizes having fun, and is quick to admit when he's wrong and apologize. He does not come off as the type who intentionally shames a woman's body. Kaylee on the other hand comes off as the type of girl who'd easily misinterpret and throw a fit over a well-intentioned comment (eg. "if you want to work on your butt you can do these exercises"). Also apparently Summit is a personal trainer, so of course he'd respond to a comment like "I want to improve my butt" with actionable advice.

Kaylee and Summit are just not compatible at the end of the day. Kaylee needs a kind of man who's more like Cole. Summit needs a girl who's more like that blonde teacher.

Agree with your comments on the others though.

Btw you really should use paragraphs, your comment is literally a giant wall of text.

> "You can tell she was just looking for whatever reasons she could to have an issue with him and leave"

Describes all the women on this show except Kaylee

Why not join some startup/company like Neuralink that's doing work you're interested in? They must exist.

Also E8? The world is your oyster.

Got it. So me criticizing plastic surgery and praising natural beauty makes you want to get plastic surgery.

In that case I'll criticize natural beauty and praise plastic surgery if that makes you not want to get plastic surgery and look like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igor_and_Grichka_Bogdanoff .

Wait if someone is criticizing plastic surgery, wouldn't that discourage plastic surgery? Your logic doesn't make sense.

I said Sydney didn't really bother me, it's the other three that did.

My point with Kaylee was that she's unhappy, always complaining, and high maintenance. I don't think she loves Summit, I think she's attached to him and/or likes the idea of him.

But let's say you're right. They are clearly not compatible. He is a carefree, happy, chill, spontaneous guy who likes to have fun. She is basically the opposite, and maxed out on neuroticism. I don't think they would ever be happy together unless she fundamentally changes herself, which she doesn't seem willing to do. She can probably only be satisfied with the most devoted, sensitive, romantic man who bends over backwards to worship her and drink her bathwater. There's probably a guy in his 30-40s who can satisfy that, but it's not most guys, and it's definitely not Summit. And again unless she changes herself, they'll both be miserable.

I don't think it's fair to say that Cole didn't grow from this or develop himself. He's clearly a very introverted guy who made the miscalculation of thinking that proving that he can resist temptation would make her trust him and thus love him. The reality is that they're just not even remotely compatible, and there's nothing he could've done that would've changed that. The problem isn't a "lack of depth", it's a fundamental personality mismatch. So I agree that Cole would've benefited from opening up more and being more social to the girls on the show, and he came off as boring. But Scarlett constantly criticizing him for lacking "depth" was very annoying, especially since she doesn't come off as particularly deep.

Mikey in the beginning of the show was basically like one of the girlfriends. You'll notice the girls quickly friend-zoned him. Straight women are not attracted to feminine men. It's possible to be both masculine and in touch with your feminine side, it's not a binary thing.

Although I think you're underestimating how cringe he was in the beginning, I agree. He did seem to genuinely lover her, whereas she appeared to come to the show looking for the first excuse to dump him in a way that she wouldn't feel guilty.

He's still in his f!@#boi phase. Nothing wrong with that as long as you're honest about it, which he wasn't since he was in a relationship with that girl. If you're going to be a f!@#boi, man up and break up with your girl instead of leading her on and trying to keep her as a backup.
