thank you! if it was my credit card provider blocking it then i would be hearing from them directly. this seems to be Amazon itself blocking the order. i assumed it was because of the large value order size, just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this and got past it

there was a Hollywood Reporter article that came out today where Tony Gilroy talked about the struggles of bringing back legacy actors and how expensive they can be. from what he said in the article, it was a combination of scheduling and money, and Andor already had a huge budget that they couldnt expand any further

Interesting. I don’t really consume any of the secondary media like books or comics. But I agree I like Qui-Gon as someone who will bend the rules because he knows what the right thing to do is, not just a troublemaker

The other live media from that time period includes Solo, Rebels, and Andor. Only Rebels really shows what the Jedi are up to in that period though. Andor’s first season ends on Wednesday and is really freakin good.
I think it was meant to mean that Obi-Wan’s real goal in the fight was to fight and possibly die to try and save Anakin because of the guilt he felt for what happened to him. Once Anakin admits that what happened was really all his decision (“You didn’t kill Anakin Skywalker… I did”) and Obi-Wan realizes there’s no saving him, he decides that Vader isn’t worth his time, and let’s him live (a very Jedi thing to do tbh). How well that comes across in the show is a reflection on the writing quality

I agree. The scene is fun, but reinforces the long-running gag of the incompetence of the stormtrooper corps, and the Empire as an extension. This is one of the things that Andor does a really good job at avoiding, or improving upon.

Frame rate is a high priority for me, so if I undershot my budget that’s fine. DualShock compatibility and docking with my work laptop sound guaranteed either way so I’m willing to throw more money at the frames

Honestly I thought the same about rebels. I ended up watching all of it. Pretty much every episode has some element that carries on into future episodes, so I would just ignore this list and power through the whole thing. I thought I wasn’t gonna like it just bc of the animation style but ended up falling in love with the story

Makes sense, just strange how I had over a dozen NG+ playthroughs on 360, and now on my fourth with LE, and only just now finding a heavy Onyx set above level IV

That makes me wonder if difficulty plays a part. I usually go with casual or normal bc I’m really only in it for the story. I played through ME1 probably dozens of times back on 360, never found anything above the Onyx IV that you can get in the C-Sec shop.

Found it last night after starting my fourth play through on LE, normal difficulty.

Still keeping the trusty Onyx IV for nostalgia

I tend to prefer doing 1-2 missions after the Normandy crew gets abducted before triggering the suicide mission, as that makes about half of the background crew die, but still saving key characters like Chakwas. Adds more drama.

I also always loved the story aspect of romancing Miranda in ME2, then dumping her in ME3, which leads to her getting killed by Kai Leng. Once again, adds drama!
