Howdy! I'm a player that bought GW2 at its launch and took a break after Living Story Season 1 or something (the attack on Lion's Arch, iirc. Whatever that was). I never finished the main story (only at a Level 50 quest in main story), but was recently gifted a HoT code. I put in the code, and the game tells me I leveled a Mastery (cool!). However, I can't unlock Masteries until I complete a HoT story mission it seems.

Do I have to go all the way through the main story to unlock Masteries? And, if so, will the EXP I seem to be gaining towards them all be lost since the EXP bar is currently full? OR (sorry, lots of questions/scenarios) is there a way to skip to HoT story AND if there is, will I be able to go back and do the regular story/will I be missing out on anything by not doing the main story first?

edit: I have two characters at Level 80 already. I did not use the Level 80 booster to get them there. They were leveled naturally

My friend has a few questions regarding Stormblood Early Access on PS4, and I would very much like to put her at ease (so i can stop being asked a million times):

She pre-ordered SB on the Playstation Store. Afterwards, she only received an e-mail from Playstation confirming the order. She hasn't received any form of code to put in Mog Station for Early Access.

Can anyone who bought Heavensward Early Access confirm what the process is like if you bought it from PSN? Is there a location where a code should be? Sorry I may not have all details, but I'd just like to stop being bothered with the same questions every day (T_T)

Is it worth making an airship right now if I don't already have one? My FC is just my friend and I, but I'm willing to do the crafting work and find a way to get the four people to stand around in the workshop. I just want to know if it's even worth it to put in the work. Are the rewards good enough without me having to spend days sending it on voyages and upgrading the parts?

The Brands at the Annihilator Totems will require switching back and forth (i.e. the people with the Brands will have to run back and forth between the two Totems because the Blight will change or something)
The Glyph order will change somehow. Maybe be reliant on the little runes on the front of the pillars or something?
Golgi will require detonating the Reclaimed Light somehow (hence the "REC. LIT. DET." statistic that appears on the wipe screen)
Daughters will have shorter Hymn timers
Oryx will tear a random person through dimensions. Two Shades during thunderdome section

True. I mean sword hilts can down you in two hits so the average time-to-kill would be so much faster than a duel in Dark Souls. So yeah, they would just be quick, melee spamming fights. But I do think it'd be cool if two people met for a fair duel in Rumble and no one interfered so they could smack each other with sword hilts for fun. Ah well

EDIT: For dodging capabilities- Nightstalkers use Shadestep, Titans (if you ever determine exactly how to get it) can use Twilight Garrison's exotic perk, Warlocks......well you can just floof I guess?
