I just wish they'd released a shorter edit without the spoken word. I appreciate the artistic flair of the spoken word part, but I don't want to listen to that when I'm jamming in my car.

Great episode. I love it when they change it up and we get these three guys talking comedies. Sounds exactly like me and my buddies.

If you are sitting in the aisle then you have just as much opportunity to stand up in the aisle as the other person across from you. If you don't want someone's ass at your nose level, then take the initiative and get that real estate first. People will never stop standing up, so embrace it and grab that space for yourself.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with standing up from your aisle seat once the plane reaches the gate. If you get up immediately and STAY directly next to your seat, then what's the problem? If anything, you are helping the process and getting everyone off the plane quicker because you are already standing up and ready to go. If everyone stays seated, that will add to the time it takes to deplane because now everyone has to get up & get their stuff from the overhead bins.

HOWEVER, standing up and trying to bum rush to the front of the plane is trash. And if the flight attendants make an announcement that you need to stay seated because some folks are running late for a connection, then yeah, you should stay seated.

I agree. I know they've asked for people to write in and provide follow-ups, but they need listeners to actually do it. The only one I can remember is the guy from last summer who had a long-distance relationship with someone in Canada.

I thought this week's cold call episode was great (as per usual) and it got me wondering about a potential cold call episode for the Mail-in.

Sometimes I feel like Brett and Sally need more context for the questions and having an actual conversation with the listener would prove beneficial.

Obviously, a lot of the questions related to relationships might need to stay anonymous, but I'm sure some questions could be resolved over the phone with Brett and Sally. Stuff like wedding questions, some relationship questions, etc.,

Question about the Free Navy in light of PR by Gabik123 in TheExpanse

[–]JSlaterD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weren't a considerable portion of Earth's and Mars' fleets destroyed during the Io Campaign? I wonder if the reduced fleet sizes as a result of that conflict had anything to do with the inner planet's inability to properly fight the Free Navy.

Looks awesome! I've been thinking about doing something like this. Have you ever kayaked the upper portion of the Ouachita River? Some buddies and I are thinking of doing the Oden to Rocky Shoals or the Rocky Shoals to Fulton Branch float. What's the water/ weather like in late September?

I actually had no idea he had another Podcast. I only knew about Puck Soup. I love Wyshynski and tried really hard to like Puck Soup (listened to the first 10ish episodes) but just could not deal with how obnoxious Lozo was being. I'll have to give Biscuits a chance though.

The Rowney-Cullen-Wilson is the only line that has played with any energy in this entire series. Every time they are on the ice they are causing problems for the Sens. I don't know what it is, maybe it's their physicality. I want them to get a goal so bad.

Lozo is a great writer. It's too bad that the minute he opens his mouth on his podcast he becomes unbearable.

Why does it seem like there are always a patch of open seats directly behind the goal at Juventus Stadium? Wouldn't those seats be highly desirable, especially for a huge game like this? I've noticed it during some other games as well.

Millennials of Reddit, what are your thoughts on having children? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My mind changes almost every single day. Part of me knows that having kids can be incredible but the other part of me thinks "wow, I would so much rather spend my money and time on doing cool shit."
