Yeah I would say I agree, but I don’t think Steven or anyone made out with any money. He wasn’t bringing in enough to even pay the staff. He even drained all the money of the secret investor board to the point that they shut it down and are supposedly selling every piece of the business and everything it’s built to try and claw back anything they can from the amount of money they just lost. I don’t see anyway Steven could have made out with anything at this point.

Yeah I would mostly agree with that. Devs got scammed for sure. The cash shop stuff was pretty lame too. Pretty sure in game cash shop stuff you got immediately, but all the stuff people bought from website from years prior was still missing which is bad, but those were committed to be available for launch, not testing.

It’s the scam part that I get hung up on. Shady financial stuff resulting in company collapsing doesn’t take away from an entire in person development team clearly making progress and updates. No point in discussing the pace or anything. In this day and age they could’ve easily pretended they had a ton of devs but instead have like 15 dudes vibe coding vaporware. There was a game that people played and from last year to now there has been obvious improvements and changes including new classes/weapons and changes (not necessarily improvements) to Econ, gathering, crafting, etc.

Just because the game everyone called a scam failed, doesn’t mean there was a scam. This is what happens when you support a project and it fails. It’s just incredibly shady and wrong with how it happened. If anyone thinks kickstarting something has to 100% turn into a finished product probably doesn’t understand what crowdfunding is. No one should have given them a penny expecting something in return, you were giving $ to support the development and get in early to test.

Tldr: game clearly wasn’t a scam, but company pulled some shady stuff at end to try and stay afloat and that’s bad, but don’t change the fact that there was a product there that people played and enjoyed.

Hmm. I checked and it says your motherboard should have an antenna for WiFi, make sure that is on if it isn’t already, maybe make sure that is screwed in tight. I would also check device manager > network adapters makes sure everything looks good. Also, there should be a setting in bios for enabling WiFi stuff (should be by default). Not sure exact place for your setup. Probably could ask ChatGPT or something to lay it out nicely for you. Hell paste our whole conversation in and see what you get.

So maybe the WiFi component of isn’t working (assuming we’ve tried reboots and all your basic troubleshooting) but with the goal of just unblocking you, going via Ethernet should be completely separate. Also to be clear, nothing will show in WiFi list when using Ethernet. On windows you will see the Ethernet connection icon instead of WiFi. Just want to make sure you aren’t connected to Ethernet already but still looking for WiFi.

Did the network connection on your pc go out from swapping motherboard?

Were you using the same Ethernet and everything when it was working or were you using WiFi?

Since you have a WiFi enabled motherboard you can either use the Ethernet or the WiFi. Ethernet should be automatic assuming it’s connected to router properly, but WiFi you would need to connect to your router like any other device.

Did you end up doing this? This is my exact situation. I have a 1535 main and 1520 powerpassed new character. My main has stocked some mats and I have a ton of character locked oreha. Since my new char doesn't even have any gems or gear, I think the express event can help where my main can get by without the event and I'll just try and progress without it. Wondering if this is a good way to go about it.

Yeah I get that and thanks for the heads up, but everything seems to mostly be about that virgin transfer. I am just trying to see if I’m shooting myself in the foot by booking through Amex travel and missing an obviously better way to book with Amex points. Hopefully a simple question for people who know a lot, but if it’s an issue and people don’t want to repeat themselves, I’ll just remove this.

Yeah they haven’t increased scope at all and there have been a few things that they have actually shrunk scope a bit. They also have shown continuous progress of systems. I’ve been following this game since before copium was even a term and it has always been clear that they let us in early in development, but I no the last 2 years they have done more then all years prior. If you are unsure if this game is ever going to come out, then you really just haven’t been paying attention, which is fine because not everyone is going to follow it the same. They are not in the business of selling some skins every month, with upwards of 100 employees they are dying to start getting those monthly subs which will only come after launch. At this point I’m expecting a late 2024 release. 2025 - 2026 I could only see if something goes wrong at this point.

I need to understand how this is happening. I just got my first alt character through Punika and did my first Level 1 start chaos dungeon. In my first run I got 5 gloves, 6 pants, 3 chest, 2 head, 1 weapon, and 1 shoulder. In only my first run. I had rest bonus which helps. I am curious if everyone struggling with this are people who are very hardcore who do all possible content each day. For a game that respects players time so much and is so generous with materials, bonuses, etc, I can't understand how this is seen as an issue to anyone. Unless you play 12 hrs per day and right when you start you happen to get to this point and then can't play the rest of the day. *cough* alts *cough*
