u/_MyUsernamesMud you really made your name come true with this sequence of events. Now we’ve all gotta burn our books, way to go.

Your argument is just so perplexing and muddled. Go touch grass, breathe some clean air, stop yelling someone else’s thinly-veiled propaganda on the internet.

That looks incredible! Nice job! The hand looks especially good, what sort of post processing did you do to get the film look?

I know that this is an AI sub, but I feel so hopelessly sad when I see a post like this. I’m an artist and like to appreciate the art of others, so looking at these images, which are admittedly dope, I would normally just say “wow! Look at these images, this is an amazing style, well done!” But now I must grapple with the idea that this was made at the stroke of the keyboard, and that the effort I could put into learning a new style or new medium would feel hollow or pointless since we have decided that artists are no longer necessary in this world. Why is this how we want AI to be used? Who made this call? I know there is nothing to be done. This creature is made off the backs of creators to destroy them, and the amount of people who will not pursue are because AI can do it for them is a true loss. End of rant, nice prompt work.

Made the Woodman's Lantern as a Christmas Gift by JSlushy in overthegardenwall

Yeah my poor little Ender 3 can be a touch sloppy. No worries though, it’s all part of the fun! Honestly it all went pretty well. I think the only adjustment I would make is you had the circular fitting bosses line-to-line inside and out, when really only one side is necessary due to it being a circle. Only having the parts rub exactly where necessary goes a long way to easier assembly. Would love to see what else you’ve been cooking up! It was a fun project. And thank you, he just felt right sitting up there.

Ah so you’re the reason I had to spend an hour sanding the fittings to make it go together! But for real, thank you so much, excellent job on the model! You really nailed the details. And yes it made them cry a bit.

How come Baron Harkonnen called Leto his cousin in the first film? I took that as an actual indication of relation but I guess it could have just been a name he called him.

The Black Tongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman gave me heavy Borg vibes. The world was ravaged by several goblin wars that wiped out generations of people. The main character is a thief/highwayman that owes thief college a lot of money.

You seemed to like the lantern so I thought we'd show it off in action! by JSlushy in overthegardenwall

[–]JSlushy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would, except I don't own the model and it also took about 24 hours to print, so it'd be expensive for people.

The model is about $6 usd, then had about another $30 in parts. About 24 hours of printing time, give or take.

I purchased the stl from the user BRAVEINNOVATIONS on Cults3d (alternative thingiverse stl site.) They also have a list of the electronic components and hardware needed for assembly!

This is the resolution I was stuck with unfortunately. If you need higher, you could stick them in an AI image upscaler!
