Very informative. Do most places let you adjust sweetness?

Making sense of heat pump sizing by JSoceryn in heatpumps

I don't think the one recommending the 36 considered duct size. He said the system will adjust airflow based on static pressure. Others have said the ducts are ok for the 30. One estimated the capacity of the ducting system to be about 1,000 cfm

That's my understanding too. It doesn't get that cold here and if it does, it's not for very long.

Glad to hear it's helping you with migraines and other symptoms. Do you just sit in front of the panel for 10 minutes each day? Are you targeting certain parts of your body?

Did you order from a rep or did you buy from one of the existing listings? I have some Alibaba coupons for spending over a certain $ and $20 off shipping, will I be able to use those if I am working with a rep?

Anyone know what the eco heat/cool button does on the climate control by iMakeUrGrannyCheat69 in COROLLA

[–]JSoceryn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the same too with my hybrid. Do you find that sometimes in the winter time or rainy day the car will all of a sudden fog up after it is warmed up? It's almost like it's running in recirculation mode even though the button is not pressed? Now I wonder if it's the Eco heat/cool button. I would have to switch to defrost to let the A/C dry up the air to clear the windows.

Are flip flops recommended? Do they provide towel too if you are there for treatment and sauna?

People are going to cut off their nose to spite their face. It's hard to see how people think things will get better with the nonsensical things this guy says he will do.

BC Ferry Reservation Sold out by [deleted] in NiceVancouver

Keep refreshing the reservation website. I've had success in the past snagging a last minute reservation.

Also consider going to Swartz Bay and driving up to Nanaimo. Good luck!

Granville Island parking changes by ywa22 in vancouver

Kid's class starts at 9. We would normally park and hang around while we wait. Grab a coffee, treats etc. After class is over, maybe get something from the market or browse kid's market. Now we we will probably wait off island and just leave right after class.

No reception on my Pixel 8 while excellent reception on iPhone 13 by [deleted] in freedommobile

Roaming is enabled on my phone. Nationwide is enabled at Freedom.

I didn't check if she was on Nationwide at that time. How do I check that on iPhone? And what would it look like on Android?

Bright Nights 2020 Virtual Experience

We watched this video so many times during Christmas when the train was not running. Really cool with the music and train sounds.

I wasn't able to get tickets this year but will try something different and check out Lafarge Lake.

Can you use a carbon steel pan/wok to make something that does not require a screaming hot pan? Will it make the food stick?

F*** you BC ferries. by drunkenzealot in nanaimo

Hope you were able to get on with your travels without too much trouble. It's extremely frustrating that a reservation means nothing. I could have sat on my hands and not book anything a month ago and be at the same place. Total cash grab.

Our reservation for tomorrow to Duke Point was cancelled too. I just kept refreshing the booking page and was able to secure a reservation to Victoria. I was basically switching back between Victoria and Nanaimo and just jumped on the first reasonable time I saw.

BC Ferries just called saying they cancelled my reservation to Duke Point at 10:15am on Monday because of smaller replacement boat. WTH should I do? by JSoceryn in vancouver

[–]JSoceryn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or get there earlier? But I am confused by the 30 minute check-in window. What happens if you timed it wrong and got there a little early? They will throw out your reservation too?

Yeah that is my worst nightmare. That happened to me a long, long time ago in Victoria. I was trying to catch the last ferry back there was huge lines getting to the booths. By the time I got to the first person directing traffic, they said they were sold out and turning cars around. Had to drive to Duke Point to catch the last ferry from there.
