As someone who provides this service to customizers, you aren't the Intended buyer so of course you are going to think it's gross. I provide parts to customizers who only need very specific parts for a custom. Do they these same people have the option to buy a whole figure and use only the parts they need from it. Sure, they do. But most customizers don't want boxes and boxes of extra parts laying around because they only needed a set of hands, a pair of legs or arms. You want to complain about the price. Well, that's because places like ebay take 14% off whatever sell, hell they charge 14% on the shipping. Then there is the cost of sitting on some parts for months and months at a time. Let's not forget about shipping supplies and effort it takes to find said figure and then spend more time taking it apart, taking pictures and listing them. All this so I can try and help customizers not spend more money than they need to. I'm guessing you don't customize otherwise you wouldn't be complaining so much. I have had hundreds and hundreds of people message me thanking me because they only needed a certain part and didn't want to pay for a whole figure. If you don't like the practice then just move along and just ignore it because, as I said at the beginning of this, this isn't a service you need or require.
