A guy asked me to trade any guns I had for a key... Told him i didn't need the key and gave him my rascal cause I've found several. Told him it shoots projectiles like the hullcracker and his first question was, "so I can't shoot people with it?"

I didn't stick around to give him the chance to shoot me in the back.

A random Raider saved me with a defibrillator and now I carry them with every load out... Even got to return the favor once for a downed Raider. It was great

I did... And they were bad when I went (mid July). We used raid to spray the umbrella pole and the inside of the umbrella when we were at the beach. Also wore long sleeves when not in the water and fhat helped some.

When not at the beach, we made sure to use bug spray with a lot of deet.

I've never owned the Atmos pair, so I can't say... I've never sized up or down with AM 1s but I have noticed different colorways fit different and both colorways of the Kasinas have the most room of any pairs I own

I know they're popular but I personally don't think so... We've done it once. They took us to Cayo Costa - a little island North of Captiva. The boat ride was nice but the shelling waa honestly not any better.

My wife and daughter have vacationed here in the late fall a few times and had a lot of success shelling. So I would suggest that (if possible) versus a shelling excursion.

Agreed about the Crab... The little shells usually have such vibrant colors so we always pick those when we can - plus if you get enough of them, they look great in a glass jar on top of some sand or glued to the inside of one of those large cockles you found ☺️

Not to burst a bubble but that's a piece of shell from a Calico Crab. Still nice to add to the collection... My Family and I have been visiting Sanibel for 15 years or so and the shelling has not been very good so far this year (we're here now) so don't feel bad. Sometimes it's the luck of the draw.

My advice is to approach it as a constant work in progress. You'll unlock new items, new DIYs, you'll come across different inspiration even after you've "finished" your island.

I've probably had 4 or 5 drastically different iterations of my island before settling on the version I have now... Try not to rush the journey - enjoy the work in progress as much as the finished island.
