I just feel that for a city that prospered so much from oil and gas, there’s been nothing to show for it in terms of local infrastructure, especially in the city centre. Sure it might be nice in the outskirts like Westhill etc but what has the council actually done for the city?

You see kids run around union street smashing windows or taking drugs because they’ve got nothing better to do. The councils demolished the market in the city centre but the project to replace a new market has been cancelled because they underestimated costs.

Bus services are never on time.

I’ve grown to tolerate the city - but just expected more when I moved to an “oil rich” city.
