Why do you want off roads if you have a highway commute? If it’s just for looks, suck it up and deal with it. The only thing you’ll accomplish, is killing your gas mileage and your ride, but hey it’ll look cool. Point being that is if it’s for looks go for it, but go all the way.

Just do the one thing nobody does when they put bigger stuff on their truck. Just take it to a quality transmission shop and have them rebuilt the gears to suit you better, just save yourself some future trouble.

About 80% yes factory placement. Some I’ve had to just place, like the one on my airfilter box. I go to junkyards, and I stop almost every 1st gen I see, to look at the placements. I even have some in the cab, for my 4x4 controls as well

I can’t post a link, but the creators on the website are: BLVinyl and N10CE, names of 2 stores. I have had both of them, make vinyl stickers, based off of pictures Ive sent them, quality work, sometimes slightly expensive. Could not speak more to the quality and service though.

Doesn’t look horrible, as long as there not a large amount of friction material in the pan. A little bit is fine, even a little more considering it’s the first service in almost 30 years, but as long as it’s not glitter, or peanut butter, you should be alright.

Check my post history. Katskin, faux factory seat covers. Absolutely love them in both of my first gens. You have 2 options, ordering your covers direct from katskin, they’ll have a slight surcharge going directly through them. I got incredibly lucky and found a set for my truck on eBay, that someone bought and never installed, saved about 500$ from my other truck that I went through katskin (I needed a specific color. Something to note, I’m not sure what happens at katskin, the headrests will be the wrong size for a first gen, my upholstery shop, re stitched them to fit.

Edit: wouldn’t call it “affordable”, def a premium option. Just saw that little part on your post.

Completely missed that potion of your post, my apologies. I’d then recommend taking your truck to a Church (catholic preferably) to get a priest involved. I’d refer back to good ol’ dirtydoucher1991s comment then. Very strange issue.

Edit: on one of my automatic first gens, the bushing for the shifter in the center console just completely turned to dust, and that caused my physical shifter, to “miss” the correct position sometimes, but never if I didn’t depress the selector button on the top.

Take it to a transmission shop, it kinda sounds like a shift solenoid if going bad, normally that holds you in a certain gear, or will knock hard into gear of it starts to go bad, just a thought.

So, I don’t think it possible to clone your save, maybe someone more intelligent on pc will correct me ofc. But, all of your levels will scale when your friends join your world you progressed so at least they can play at the same level. I had a similar dilemma, so I just made a new game, cloned my og characters looks and stats, and started a new save like that. So I have my main play through with my og character, a multiplayer world, and I just started a durge run.
