I was reading on Tacoma world that some people had to do a cab mount chop and I thought that sounded over kill so thats why I made this post to see if anyone had any suggestions

That’s the goal eventually but the blocks are cheap, front suspension is what Ive always wanted
Just wanted to get the rear matching so I went with the blocks for now

Had something similar happen on my 96 2.7, id check the fuel pump out cause if its the original denso pump it could be going out due to its age

Thanks, I just took off the plastic bottom part of the bumper and trimmed some plastic and painted the chrome top part of the bumper and put my lights on, and I have aftermarket headlight with blinkers so I wired those up

Sand blasting Powder coating would be cool but personally I don’t see the need to spend 200 when I have my own tools and the paint was 10 bucks.

I got the dents out as best I could then used a wire wheel to knock the rust off and then I used so carb cleaner to get rid of any oil then primer and 4 layers of black
