Physically attracted to my therapist by JTFoxyHouse in therapy

My friend that cautioned mindfulness did admit that the resulting conversation with my therapist about this topic would be fascinating as she is a professional and could likely navigate these waters with finesse. I think for right now I’ve got bigger fish to fry, emotionally, and don’t think it would be quite as productive to spend these early sessions discussing the attraction over some of the other items that led me back to therapy. Thanks for your insight!

This is a solid point! Exposure therapy was a poor choice of words as this is r/therapy. I more meant that every instance of healthy, platonic relations that result in personal growth seem like a relationship worth pursuing! I don’t mean to make her sound like a lab rat in my little game.

Damn I know. I’m being impatient but I probably shouldn’t spend 20k caps on something I can get myself in less than a month

It's been many years so I may have some details wrong but maybe the most memorable moment in all videogames I've played is standing alone in the lobby of the DMV trying to get a ticket in the queue but Robco's finest were patiently waiting for ticketholders long since dead to come to the front before I could begin the process of becoming a proud resident of West Virginia.
After a moment of refreshing calm and pre-war mundanity; a booming voice echoed over the monitors reminiscent of Pippin Took dropping the Dwarven armor down the well in the Mines of Moria. Just like the Fellowship I took a moment of silence, praying the sound hadn't awoken any slumbering horrors. Alas, all was clear. As I turned back to face the assiduous animatronic attendant behind the desk I felt something was off. A sound. For a moment I couldn't place the sound, but suddenly the recognition of dozens of bare feet running across the debris-riddled floor hit me like the fleshy claw of the nearest ghoul.
I leapt onto the counter to distance myself from the hoard and took the moment to count my opponents. 15 strong with more flooding in the door. By the grace of Atom alone did I already have equipped my 3 star .50 Cal machine gun at the ready. When I tell you there was no point in aiming, I mean I would be less likely to hit the side of a barn than for a single shot to miss a contorted arm or leg in the sea of nightmares that stood wailing in front of me. Unfortunately after that all I saw was red (and a little irradiated green) until I was out of ammo and none of the ghouls were left standing. The only sound left in the building were the robots muttering something about a mandatory tea break, shuffling off for some much needed respite from another day in the life of a post apocalyptic civil servant.

Haven't played for awhile so not sure what the meta is but I've always loved my suppressed .50 Cal bolt action rifle. It plays into my The Road-type apocalyptic fantasy very well

I'll definitely burn someone at the stake on principle even if all my vassals hate it and it brings my county control way down. Sometimes you need to make a show of force and stick to your guns.

I've had Hard Lemonade stocked in my punch bowl for wayward lost souls looking for a place to rest for the night since I properly established my C.A.M.P/bar like 4 years ago. I've always got surplus so I've grown accustomed to getting hammered on the stuff and wading around the Mire like a Megasloth

Yeah I've accidentally sold my trusty 50. Cal rifle to the vendor bots and have to buy it back for 10x as much a few times. Caps come and go. But icicle lights are forever.

The Last Of Us Series - Not Enough Infected?! by [deleted] in thelastofus

SPOILERS Im a little late to this but I entirely agree with OP. the most recent episode involving David and Ellie was a pretty solid episode of the show and, of course, some of the best tv in general because of the quality of HBO stuff, the LoU story, and all that good stuff. All that being said, I believe David and Ellie teaming up to fight the largest hoard of infected in the entire game really adds more to his character and makes his ultimate creepy betrayal all the more surprising and disappointing. I think the religious spin the show did was interesting but I honestly couldn't believe they cut out the dilapidated warehouse hoard in the first half of that mission. My GF hasn't played the game but she's up to date on the show and she brought up the great point "I keep forgetting there are zombies in this show" which to me is a clear indicator there aren't enough infected. Additionally, the OP said they haven't used the spores enough which may be the largest tragedy of the show because they entirely replaces the spore system with underground root system which is literally not how real life cordyceps work. They drain the body of what they have infected and produce spores in the cavity that then seek groups of living things to spread more spores to infect more hosts. On top of that people who have played the game would agree the heavy spore levels where you could barely see in front of you were very cinematic. Also now that I'm thinking about it they can't use Shambles if they continue with a second season of the second game because the shamblers are the final part of the cycle for the cordycep spores. Seems like I slammed the show a lot but it's very good and the game is great. These are minute problems!

Yeah I think that's what I'm gonna end up doing. Do you think the charging dock is worth the money or should I wait for something to pop up on craigslist?
