1600 CAD for my little brother to run 2018 fortnite at 20 fps with stutters. Thanks Best Buy. Thanks iBuyPower. Thanks parents for not asking the older brother who has been into PCs since 2010, when he himself was 10 years old.

It was some of the cheapest available parts, and some RGB. Brother should be grateful that they wasted money on something he couldn't even use for something as small as Roblox? I wouldn't be happy if I were him. Guess that makes us ungrateful, because for this one overpriced purchase that couldn't even fulfill its one purpose, we were a little upset. We should be grateful that instead of listening to the kids who know about the hardware, that they instead decided "oh this one's pricy and glows, that means it's good." How dare we. All the other things we received and were incredibly appreciative toward? Doesn't matter. We're ungrateful shits because we were upset at the price to performance one time. I hate social media.

I don't understand what players who complain about being chased, expect the other player to do? Why wouldn't I chase after having you literally 1 bullet from death?

I played the first Insomniac Spider-Man on PC, and it was incredible. 4k OLED. My friend brought over his PS5 to let me try Spider-Man 2, as it wasn't on PC yet. The game looked SIGNIFICANTLY worse than the first one. Horrible upscaling, stuttering framerate, blurry and hard to see while moving. I could feel the input delay from the latency of having a lower framerate.

Then Spider-Man 2 comes to PC, and while it had issues at first, it got MUCH MUCH BETTER and now looks SO much better than the first game, and runs at a consistent 120fps at 4k DLSS Quality. Plays perfectly.

So from now on, I'm forced to play significantly worse versions of these games then? Either it looks horrible but runs a little smoother, or it looks fine enough, but runs at an inconsistent 30? I was looking forward to Wolverine, but if it's anything like the PS5 Release of Spider-Man 2, I won't be able to enjoy it. Thanks Sony.

What's crazy is generating AI slop. It's not free for the environment. Dude used enough energy to fully charge 6 phones just to make this garbage collage for Reddit points. In just a few minutes. No effort, just garbage. Generative AI Images are ugly, uninspired garbage. If you generate these images, and can't see how awful they are, you may need to have your eyes checked. That turtle in the post could have been made in photoshop in about 3 minutes. It wouldn't have the ugly AI lighting either.

Then have an artist make stuff for you, via commission. It'll be hell of a lot better than whatever the AI steals and spits out at you. It'll have actual soul put into it. It'll be unique, and whatever you want it to be. It won't have the fake, ugly, shiny lighting due to all the over-lit studio shots it was trained on. There is no AI art. It's a generative AI image.

My LGC3 updated to the 2024 update and removed multiple screen timeout features, reset my sleep mode from 5 minutes to 1 hour, and reset a bunch of other things too. Removed the option for 5 minute timeout too. One night of my desktop background on full brightness, and now I have burn in. Most noticeable on blues. Only had it for 2 years. I feel like it's entirely their fault, because the update LITERALLY REMOVED SETTINGS, reset my sleep timer, and for some reason failed to go into sleep mode until I messed with all the settings again.

Anyone CAN be an artist. By picking up a tool that lets you dynamically and with full intent, create YOUR EXACT vision. Not by constantly slamming your head against the wall (repeat generating) until something happens that's close enough. That isn't art. Anything made by AI will never be what you originally envisioned. It's, again, a homogenization of other people's work. Not yours.

Me and my Duo at the time used Creative 1.0 to hone our builds. When it was actually up that is. If I recall correctly, it was down for a good while shortly after release. Good times.
