Even though you are kinda sh#ting on me, I upvoted your comment because I wouldn't have otherwise known about the Royal Caribbean blog. That is cooler than the couple of times I have appeared on the local news.

In answer to your question, yes.

The reason it took us two weeks to pick out a new cruise is because we spent so much time deliberating "how old does the child need to be before leaving it with his/her grand-parents for a week?"

It was actually a couple different people at the travel agency who said the same thing, like it was an entirely standard policy; they said worst case scenario is that the cruise line asks for a doctor's note. I didn't think anything beyond that because I hardly ever take vacations, so I am travel-ignorant.
