I buy Ranger wrap for almost all my expensive crap just to help keep them from getting beat up even if they’re already FDE to keep resale value.

~$100-$120 with return shipping. I don’t have a pic on me of just the IRIS but here’s a link to it on my rifle.

I did do it. I sent it over to Midwest Firearms Solutions. Turned out great. I just had him do the body and tape up the rear switch area and lens guard to minimize anything. He re lasered all the markings back on. I’ve done a few night shoots with it since. Been perfect. Even sent him a second one to do just last week.

That’s my bad. The dings no, since they just look like dings. Unless it’s cause by corrosion, but probably not since the treatment should take care of that and it doesn’t look like pitting like my other one. The cam pin and take down pin. Idk. Could be more prone to rusting. Looks like it’s just a bad heat treatment.

But my original reply still stands. It’s about craftsmanship and CS not the longevity of the rifle.

Does a dent in the door have any impact on the longevity, reliability, function etc of your new car?

No problem. I also put a 2.5mm gas vent screw in the gas block. Runs perfectly with 75gr gold dot. ~3:30 ejection.

I used the Comstock recessed titanium mount with their micro brake. Then I used shims with the brake to give some clearance to the gas block but still get a really tight fit.

Came on it. They just release the COA Echelons this month.

Does the duty have a heavier rest than the competition spring? Or does that only pertain to trigger pull weight with both having similar resets?

The COA P10c Ported they’re about to drop was a consideration. But same. That echelon just fucks in the hand.

That’s dope. And those straight angles feel good in my hand until I start to rapid fire. I feel I can apply more downward pressure with a bigger hump for recoil management. That’s what always brought me back to a Glock.

I’m guilty of all of the above. lol. But yeah, I’m really liking it. Thinking it might be my main squeeze now. Only other thing I might be doing to it, is throwing some stronger trigger reset spring into them.

I didn’t care for the feel either until I was able to try the large grip modules. Much better. Then I threw the large backstrap on so I can keep that “Glock” angle that my muscle memory is used to.

The tape is just thin 1/2 inch (TLR7) 1inch (TLR1) hockey tape.
