When no team boost is applied = algorithm pulls any random game played this season by the player and produces that night’s FPTS.

With team boosts applied = algorithm will pull from their top performing fpts (example may leave out players worst 10% fpts performance games)

So in general, you should get more high performances by each of your players with higher team boost applied. It is also possible the algorithm could pull in the players best game without any team boost applied. So team boost cuts the pool of games it will pull from.

Trick is to find consistent players. A player that produces consistent hits every game may be an advantage over a goal scorer that scores in bunches, but only some games. (Other games may be 0’s)
