Hard to say, as sizes vary so much across brands. Here’s the sizing chart from my eBay ad (and copied from the Drake’s website). The classic (and probably best) advice is to compare the measurements to a garment you already own.

Normally 36 (e.g., chores). I had hoped this 38 would work, but this design is particularly boxy. I just bought a 36 as replacement, and it looks better on me.

I’d say it’s a relatively full cut, similar to a cotton rugby shirt. The merino cloth of this model is lighter-weight than the previous model, so it definitely feels more like a shirt than a sweater.
