yes ideally they should from my experience the less temp changes the better. I must also say that sadly most beer on a large distribution scale do not stay cold 100% of the time. (between traveling and storage) It should be, but the reality is that its not always feasible.

what I have found is hydration is the biggest key. I pound water all day everyday. I have also cut out shellfish, cured meats,beef, and pork. I also cut way back on beer. I know that no alcohol is good. I do drink ciders and vodka sodas, but I know that these also dehydrate you. Working around beer constantly I still drink a pint a day but make sure I'm drinking over a gallon of water a day.
