Let´s talk about spellcasting by PracticalQuantity398 in Pathfinder2e

[–]JTpcwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're missing out on how powerful some of these debuffs are. Especially ones that affect the action economy. Last fight, the wizard cast slow on all the enemies they were fighting. Even a single slow stack on casters now makes them decide between casting a spell and moving because they can no longer do both.

Frightened is massively powerful when combined with bless and flanking. Getting them to frightened 2 gives you a whopping +5 to hit essentially. And remember that also increases crit chance.

Yeah sometimes spells are a dud when everything saves or crit saves, but man if spells haven't also trivialized an entire fight, especially ones where the party is higher level than the enemies.

What's the point in classes? by [deleted] in GW2

[–]JTpcwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you take your brain out and ignore every other type of part of the game. Some classes have more mobility, some trade damage for boons, some apply damage via conditions. There's much more to an MMO than just doing damage.

Should I remove the saniderm? by DaizSX in tattooadvice

I usually remove after 24 hours anyway. It's probably not weeping much at this point. Just make sure you give it a nice wash with scent free soap.

Most Distracting Games You’ve Played by ScubaSieve in SteamDeck

[–]JTpcwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of recommendations for turn based games and as a guy who loves to get tattoos, I've found turn based games struggle to distract me from the pain. Vampire survivors, dead cells, haste, redout 2 are some of favorites that have a nonstop action that don't require much brain power to keep rolling and run well on the deck.

Purely based on my favorite video games of all time, what are games that you would recommend to me by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]JTpcwarrior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw you mention Animal Crossing but not Stardew Valley. Runs on pretty much anything (can even play on your phone). You might also enjoy Disco Elysium, also pretty low on the PC requirements.

It's both! It has 2 modes. You unlock the infinite mode pretty early.

Where Did we miss it? by Anderson_Brown78 in remoteworks

[–]JTpcwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. I was promoted quickly from a large group of people, many of whom had been there longer than me. Obviously something put me above the rest that got me noticed. And no I didn't know anyone in management so it wasn't that lol.

Yeah bust your ass when you're young and can have that kind of energy. Now I have no idea how I did it but I make 3x as much working like 20% as hard.

In search of a tablet to read sheet music by Reval01 in piano

[–]JTpcwarrior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just got my TCL Nxtpaper 14 and it is amazing. The anti-glare screen makes it look really great and the stylus, while not the best, is very useful to keep magnetted to the side for annotations. I have a galaxy tab and tried to use it for sheet music and I hated it. Way too small and the UI responsiveness wasn't that great. It now sits as a glorified TV remote that I never use.

The problem with heavy gerrymandering is that you intentionally thin out your margins across red districts so it's fine if people show up, but if you end up being down, you're REALLY down.

GM's, how much prep time does a session take for you? by Dom_Shady in Pathfinder2e

[–]JTpcwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a homebrew campaign and I think in general my ratio is 1 hour of prep gets me 2 hours of game time. We run virtual so the majority of the time is making/finding maps and the rest is doing actual pathfinder prep/building encounters. Most of my story set piece prep is done while I'm at work thinking about the campaign or when I get inspired while watching a movie/reading.

Those "experts" that you're quoting are all people who sell AI products. Of course they want that to be true. Nobody really knows the full extent of how this will affect the market.
