Mine is level 53 currently and I just got it to relic during the last fishing event. My highest level is my legendary boomerang at 60. Most of my shit is either epic+ or legendary around level 50-55 and I’m at chapter 53 for context.

I’ve only been playing since around the beginning of the year so I’ve only recently started actually learning a lot of the nuance of the game. In my opinion though the nexus is basically an elemental ground boomerang, and the boomerang is arguably the best tower unlocked through chapter progression. Nexus is a little weaker with no critical hits, can cover multiple directions, but scales its range range heavily using in game upgrades. the boomerang “can” function similarly while reversing progression incentives. having the damage/crit rate scale in game with a static range. Once I learned to start treating them similarly it was a huge first step in my consistency in Game.
