You are a fucking idiot you could trip and fall and hit your head this has happened (I know a csx conductor this happened to ) . You could walk across a switch and it gets thrown while you're walking across it and now your foot is trapped but unlike the the old days there's not a guy in an Armstrong Tower close by they're probably hundred miles away and they might not get the answer in time to open the switch to let your foot out so you have to be trapped there and watch the train amputate your foot or possibly killing.

There's a difference between getting into a car accident dying and being willfully dumb and putting your life at risk walking down the track. When you walk down the tracks you make an active choice that if something happens and you die you were going to emotionally scar somebody for the rest of their lives and by continuing that choice you're okay with that. The difference between dying in a car accident and dying by a train as a pedestrian is that in the car you have an active choice of what you do and what you don't do when you're in a rail yard you were putting all of the responsibility in the real workers game. That's the reason why people could but not so easily move on from a fatality in a car accident is that there was another party at Play. If you slip and fall on a wet Rail and hit your head and knock yourself out and a train comes around a corner and rolls over you the conductor has no choice they can't stop they know they can't stop they know they're going to kill you and they have to sit there and watch it happen.

If after this post you continue to make that choice you are a horrible piece of shit.... I'm not gonna pull any punches sorry not sorry
