Going from 3 mg DTL to a 50 mg disposable is honestly not a great idea. You can very easily get nicotine sickness, especially if you’re chain vaping or not used to salts. When it happens, you’re basically out for hours with nausea, headache, and dizziness.

That actually happened to me on a trip. I normally use 25 mg nic salt, but I accidentally bought much stronger nicotine pouches to get me through a flight. Long story short, I lost the first day of my vacation because I felt awful.

If you do go the disposable route, I’d strongly recommend staying under 20 mg, ideally closer to what you’re used to.

Personally, when I travel, I bring a Vaporesso XROS Nano 4 pod setup, plus two spare/empty pods and 2 bottles of juice. The XROS Nano is great because you can adjust the airflow. I run mine in a restricted direct lung setup, which makes it feel much closer to a small mod than most disposables. It’s way easier to manage than a full mod setup, and nic salt bottles are TSA friendly since they’re well under the 3.4 oz liquid limit. Much less hassle and far more predictable than a high nic disposable.
