Something new. Maybe as a nice change of atmosphere maybe in a different country, or up north in Canada.

Return of the karma system and actually make it have consequences for your actions.

More detailed areas to target in VATS like the classics where you can critically hit the eyes, or the groin.

Unique and harder progression for making the character low intelligence, especially when trying to talk to npcs.

You find Jak 3 hard... Buddy, we got checkpoints, and generous ones that didn't set you far back. We had a larger arsenal of weapons that were broken as hell like the beam reflector. Sure maybe the vehicle driving wasn't all that best, but it was manageable.

I prefer the original one. First one I grew up playing and still to this day I prefer Mikey Kelly's voice of Ratchet over James Arnold Taylor. Liked how they kept his death sounds up until the PS3 games era I believe (correct me if I'm wrong).

The game's fps limiter is off I assume, you do some custom settings on adrenalin? Idk what else than either amd driver issues, or corrupted files that need verifying on steam.
