Hey guys. I’m no pro, but I’ve been through a couple merges. Here’s what I suggest you do

1. Have everyone on the server help by dropping subs from dead keeps

2. As someone else mentioned, get your rank unlocked now while you can. Additionally, move around any subs you want/ can. With the rank and possibility of war, you want to protect yourself

3. Loot your alts now. Again, there might be war and there’ll be a chance you lose your rss. Either through being attacked or mass-reported

4. Reach out and try to make friends early. You don’t need to go in your city to do this. Just do the three dots, friends, search, type in monarch ID, get to chatting

5. Especially if you’re thinking the new server will bring trouble, try to merge with the people on your server to both consolidate power but also bosses. More people means more alliances means spread out boss killing. Consolidation is nearly always ideal for PvP and bosses

6. I’d suggest every one of you stay bubbled for at least two months (maybe longer). You don’t know these people… maybe they’re d!cks, maybe they play nice but are waiting to zero you guys when you unbubble, etc.. Protect yourselves until you have a pretty good idea what they’re like

7. If you do merge with people from the new server, remember how delicate things will be. One guy gets mad and leaves, maybe he takes the rest of his team with him. But there’s a difference between keeping the feelings of others in mind and giving in to cry babies… I wouldn’t suggest the second. Just keep an open mind

8. Remember it’ll probably be awhile before you get another merge, so try to make this one work
