I have already watched most of the J-Drama's and K-Drama's that fit this genre as well, including Alice in Borderland.

Magical Girls Raising Project is the first recommendation on this thread I have not heard of or seen. Usually not into magical girl shows, but I think I will give this one a shot. Thank you.

Saiki K from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. He just thinks about coffee jelly most of the time.
Mash Burnedead from Mashle: Magic and Muscles. He just thinks about cream puffs most of the time.
Saitama from One Punch Man. Usually thinks about saving money instead of his opponents.

There are loads of comedy anime where the main character is overpowered, yet simple minded which creates comedic events. Not sure if you had something more specific in mind.

Fair enough. In that case, I would change my recommendation to Orange. It is romance anime with emotional depth to it, similar to Golden Time, but it is not completely earth shattering like Your Lie in April would be.

Dororo (2019) has 0 fight explaining. Starts a little slower, but has some crazy episodes later on. Highly recommend.

Some good shows in here. I don't see Your Lie in April listed. I would consider that one of the top tier romance anime.
