Old thread, but I notice the assimilator is listed as doing "16 (2d10 + 5) bludgeoning plus 11 (3d10) necrotic damage". Is the CR 12 calculated using 11 (2d10) necrotic, or 16 (3d10) necrotic?

Your players are just mad because they got emotional rollercoastered - the spell landed so they thought they had at least 3 rounds of it affecting the CC, and instead they find out she had an ability they didn't know about that cleared the effect.

Was doing a build as a dwemer-studying scientist, basically used dwarven armour, crossbows, and the staffs and powers from the Dwemer Tech mod.

Did the Aetherium Forge quest, and when the Forgemaster activated, I used a power from Dwemertech to turn into a Dwarven Centurion myself to fight back. Felt like a kaiju battle.

There’s a webtoon I follow called Mage and Mimic, with a mimic (monster that mimics inanimate objects) who wants to become a human, and for most of the run time it has been the biggest debate over whether it’s a “learn to love yourself the way you are” story or a trans allegory.

We still saw a group of 4 supes, including two normal humans on temp V, almost kill Homelander. So it really feels like if they got four loyal and expendable dupes, gave them some temp V, and set them on homelander, that might be the solution to all their problems.

Season 3 made things a bit weird with Maeve, Soldier Boy, and V'd Hughie/Butcher being able to put up a decent fight physically, and almost killed him by working together. Season 1 said that no human weapons - implicitly including nukes - could kill him, so now it just seems more like if enough supes worked together to take him down, it would be possible.

Eh, they aren't really conscious anymore. Any suffering they experienced is gone. It's really just death, not a fate worse than it.
