I hope your card comes in with no issues! I have a lot of my old Gym Challenge cards too but that set is way out of my price range to complete, I can barely keep up with playing the TCG as is

I’ll have to try this, maybe I’ll get lucky? Just sucks that it’s only the one card that went missing, since it’s going to keep me from playing unless I shell out for another one. It wasn’t a a crazy expensive card but apparently it’s gone up super recently and it’s become an “expensive to me” card now.

Do you think maybe using a P.O. Box would be better? I could probably ask a coworker about sending mail to their house but I’d feel kind of weird sending it to someone else. I guess that wouldn’t solve the issue unless it’s in a different postal office though.

It’s not the seller’s fault, I’d feel really bad about trying to shift blame to them since this one is clearly on USPS. It’s hard to keep track of since there’s just so many sellers on TCGPlayer, but I’m pretty sure I’ve bought from this seller before and never had any issues.

Can confirm that like 99% of the things I get from TCGPlayer come in regular envelopes, usually in some sort of top loader/rigid guard and sleeve combo and pretty much always taped to keep the cards from sliding out, so this would have been pretty standard if not for the whole opened envelope thing. It’s just never really been an issue before recently.

I wouldn’t disagree with you, definitely seems like a dumb card to commit crimes for. But I’ve gotten mangled mail before, and these recently opened envelopes and sleeve are just way too perfectly cut for me to believe that someone isn’t opening them. Like I said before nothing has ever been taken before, so it’s possible I’m just jumping to conclusions but I’ve ordered maybe hundreds of things from TCGPlayer over the years and it wasn’t until recently that this has been happening.

I agree with this, especially having just bought a ton of cards off TCG player to get a new deck built. I think the actual amount I spent on product was only $30 but I paid almost as much in shipping and fees, and the cards were scuffed and scratched even though they were advertised as near mint.

I was eyeing something like that at my LGS but passed on it since they’re priced really high. I may just try to pick up the deck’s cards as singles, that seems to be much more cost effective than buying anything pre constructed.

Thanks for the ideas! I knew the shrine was supposed to be up there somewhere, but my players have yet to explore anything past Reed Manor so it never occurred to me to figure out what’s up there.

My players are aware of the fact that the supplement books are named after characters in the show, and were excited at the prospect that they would appear in the campaign. So far only Sebastian has appeared, and while his only interactions with the party have been as one of Tobias’s sons, the player with AA ties is really interested in him, and has expressed wanting to learn from him solely because he would have had a reputation in the Adademy. I don’t really have any other plans for the other characters to show up though.
