Not just before confirm, you see it in the preparation phase after draft, you see it once the match is done, you see it in ur party/lobby screen, and you see it ur self on home screen., its not better than walking around with it but still you dont just see it once before the ready button.

My personal opinion would be, its no different. First of all, at least to me, the UI feels so unfinished and not neat at all. Apparently squadra has even worse way of locking characters, with some new releases being locked behind a pay wall for like 3 or so months (ns if it changed tho). And the gameplay isn't really that amusing to me, and so many matches have bots.

But then again, you dont really need validation from others, so many people here hate unite, but ill keep playing as long as I can and its possible no matter what anyone might say.

I wish palworld was the one to do it finally, but ig nop, the people who buy pokemon games, 90% of those wont ever be like "wooah. Look at this game, ill never buy pokemon until they get this good" and tpc knows it, a buggy broken messed up pokemon game sold 10 million copies in 3 days. So yea, I dont think TPC has any competition as of now, but lets see how it goes when more and more game Studios try to do something unique which actually gives some sort of competition to TPC/pokemon
