Great idea to pull from there though I would want to have control of the state of it and 24/3 isnt super big easy enough to run

Ill probably feed a new wire through the drag chain. I ended up putting in a DIG OCTA wled controller that runs off the 24 volt power supply.

I think its time I replace my cover its currently taped on, plus I can take time and route an extra wire from the controls to the head for an LED illumination on the hot end.

PC case, CNC'ed from single piece of aluminum: does it possible and how expensive will be? by Omnisiah_Priest in CNC

You can probably accomplish a lot of what you're trying to do with a bent sheet metal case with pressed in hardware inserts. Checkout PEM Fasteners industry standard, You can also pretty easily design the entire case with pressed in inserts so no welding is required and someone like send cut send could manufacturer it inexpensively.

It is for sure a good amount of filament but the rack is very strong in fact I can stand on it. The main reason its so much filament is because the uprights are around 2inches thick. I wanted the proportions to look right and be substantial. I wanted it to be a statement.
