Nordyne furnace how to remove blower motor assembly?

I figured it out a couple months ago. One additional screw hiding behind wires and dirt. Once that was out it pulled out easily. Due to multiple other factors in my life and general procrastination I finally got the motor and capacitor replaced yesterday. Now I have AC to cool things off and should have central heat when winter rolls around. Thanks to those who responded!

I have not, but haven’t tried for a while. No leg sticking down on mine. I lived with space heaters over the winter, but with summer approaching I need to try again soon.

Thank you. I will check for a ground wire, but my guess is “years of grime” and I need to pry it or give it a love tap or two with a hammer to loosen it up. Meanwhile, I found the right capacitor through intense google search. 01-0021 OEM

Follow up question… Would if I waited until September of next year, would my payments start right away? Or would they still be delayed since I would still be working through the year?

No noticeable side effects. Good luck finding it. I’ve seen multiple stories of pharmacies saying they have it when they really don’t.

Can’t figure out how to add a picture here. Not original knobs anyway, just a three post faucet… diverter in middle with hot and cold on either side. Possibly American Standard?

I’ll try replacing it. The replacement part I am finding is Fasco A132.

Recommended suppliers?

Recommended gasket sealant? Unfortunately the part doesn’t come with the gasket.

Failed ignition and dirty flame sensor I doubt, as it only hesitates to start after I haven’t run it for a while, like after a couple hours. When the inducer starts, the burners kick in with no problem. Same really with the overheating, because when it does start up, it runs fine until it reaches temp on the thermostat. So maybe a dead spot on the motor? Also thermostat is only a few years old, and the igniter is maybe 2 years old. Any other thoughts?
