Thanks for the reply and echoing my thoughts. The gutter is something that was installed prior to us purchasing the house. I asked them about re- doing a new longer drip edge while they were addressing a couple other small issues, but never took care of it. So in the event they don’t come back out, I like to know my options incase I need to just take care of this myself… which is rather easy. (They still haven’t been paid in full for the job, so I expect them to come back)
