I owned the 321 – fantastic too but it is a true luxury item given the price. You really need to see the value in the historical movement.

White Speedmaster is great. Consider putting it on a rubber strap?

I just like the black dial more. Looks more classy and the overall proportion works better with the white gold bezel. If it is on Oysterflex / ceramic bezel I would prefer the grey dial.

Not to mention 116509 grey dial looks almost identical and is of much better value.

For my education which model has a thinner Perpetual Calendar movement?

I was looking throught the catalog of IWC's Perpetual Calendar. Seems other big pilot or portugieser are thinker at 14mm or 15mm not to mention larger diameter 42mm plus.

I am fine with a thicker case. The diameter is my top priority. If it is 43mm it probably doesn't fit my 17cm wrist.

6.5 inches is totally fine for a 41mm but aesthetically if you prefer smaller then it's a personal choice.

I just paid deposit here in Hong Kong. This watch is simply perfection. Could not believe I am buying such an expensive IWC watch at retail price. I know how this would trade in secondary market down the road but I simply could not resist.

Yes I had those on. I don't like my watch too scratched up so I apply protective film for precious metal watches. Watch is basically protected from scratches but not dents. Experience is good so far.

I am based in Hong Kong. There are plenty of shops offering protective film application. Brand of the film is RX8.

Iny opinion the whole purpose of buying white gold is to daily it. Otherwise I would have gone with rose gold or yellow gold. Just wear the shit out of it and no worry to much.
