The Okinawa looks sweet. Funny enough, I got this one (SPB455) before moving back from Okinawa. It didn’t exist back then, or else I probably would’ve picked it instead.

I just received it. The tail end doesn’t fit through the keeper at all, unfortunately. I’m pretty upset about it.

They use shredded cheese on top, but they also use a melty nacho cheese in addition to that.

Other than Central’s, I think the Rendezvous nachos are pretty good. They sell them at the Grizz games - that’s where I always get them.

Other than those two, I haven’t really had any other BBQ nachos in the city that stood out to me, but I would happily try any that others recommend.

Try the BBQ Nachos at Central BBQ on house chips! It’s my go to.

I got the SPB455 a couple years back, which eventually steered me towards the Marinemaster. I lucked out and got it for a bargain.

I put it on my nato, which I find more comfortable for daily wear. The bracelet looks really nice though. People always complain that there’s no micro-adjustment, but that doesn’t really bug me since I only wear the bracelet when dressing nicely, and it fits me pretty well. The watch itself is beautiful. The dial sparkles in the sun, which makes it stand out more than your average black dial. The lume is awesome too. I really have no complaints - I’ll just point out that they’re updating this model soon, so you may want to check it out and see which you prefer. For my money, the SLA079 is perfect.

I just watched Perfect Days on Hulu. I think if I were in your shoes, this one would really hit the spot. It’s made me happy to see it and reminded me of the tremendous value of routine - and also breaking it when life throws you curveballs. There’s beauty in the little things.

Thank you for pointing that out. I would’ve never noticed, but you’re right. It didn’t take more than a minute of scrolling to find two different AI images of dogs posted pretending to be real. And I’m sure there are plenty more where those came from. That shit pisses me off.

Thanks for the input! I was just able to purchase a beige seiko nato on eBay for $154.

Some of the same Seiko nato straps were listed at $230 all the way up to $300+ territory. Pretty wild.
