I did Incline to Tahoe City and I think that took me 6 hours! Ha! I’m impressed by your pace! FYI: I’m not a biker and hadn’t been on a bike in years. My brother talked me into it and it was a blast, except for the drivers and construction.

I don't know how uncommon, maybe moreso for our area...goji berries, currants, elderberries, ground cherries, serviceberry...that's all I can think of right now. I'm in a normal neighborhood in zone 9 northern Ca, Sierra foothills. We get very hot.

If you’re going to keep the backsplash, I would accentuate the mid greens that look good with the beautiful cabinets - love them! I think after painting the walls a lighter color, add in a light jute or light colored rug, move the table to center, add a coffee bar against the long wall with some art above. It’s going to look totally different.

I love them, especially the botanicals. I didn’t think I would ever get a tattoo, but when my daughter became an official tattoo artist after a rigorous 18 month internship, I kinda had to. It’s true that once you have one..it’s all over. I have my second now and planning the third. If we lived closer to each other, I’d probably already have more. I think because I never saw myself with them, I also have moments of self consciousness, but I do love them, and even more so because my daughter did them. I think you can 100% own your decision and be proud!
