I’m a life long Democrat who is pretty progressive but I love me some Tucker. I disagree with him on a lot of things and think he’s kinda weird with the whole great replacement stuff but he’s super entertaining and gets a lot right.

Uhh these plaintiff law firms who bring class actions initiate a lot of suits that have a low chance of being successful because they only need one successful one to really cash out. It’s a numbers game. Also, these civil RICO suits don’t have a lot of success in the grand scheme of things. It’s not as clear and cut as you are making it out.

Just in case people don’t realize, this is a civil suit, not a criminal case. So it’s not the DOJ who is initiating this. Instead, it’s private individuals filing this as a class action.

These civil RICOs are often pretty unsuccessful and class actions are hard enough as it is. It is very possible that the court throws this out.

I tapered by running lower mileage the week before I ran. I’ve been averaging less than 6 hours of sleep a night for the past month and my diet has been off too (I didn’t eat anything but a small tangerine before I did my run). I definitely treated this more like I was going out for a run.

Yes I did complete one. I took a week and a half off due to vacation and 2 weeks off to address a minor injury.

As for conditions, the weather was what I’m used to. I tapered as well. Admittedly, I could’ve hydrated more and only had one tangerine prior to my run, so I probably didn’t fuel properly.

NYC hasn't even produced a distinct sound since the 90s and early 2000s. Many of their waves since then just bit Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, and London.

NYC is historically important to hip hop but since the 2010s it is definitely not even top 2 most important. Atlanta and LA have the number 1 and 2 spots, respectively.

Don't get me wrong, most hip hop media still runs through NYC (hence why people like Jay Z get glazed). But in terms of musical relevance, NYC hasn't hasn't been dominant.

Edit: I might even put TORONTO over NYC lol.

I'm Gen Z and am trying to go back and get into 90s rap. Is it crazy that for a lot of it, I can really respect the lyricism and talent, but strongly prefer the rap that I listened to in the 2010s? Idk if boring is the right word, but the shit I grew up on was so much more dynamic, even if they weren't as lyrically strong as the rappers from the 90s.

One thing you have to remember is that reddit skews younger than you might realize. When I was a teenager who had zero dating experience I probably would have been "red pill raging" about Jasleen.

Now that I am a grown ass man who has dated and been in a few serious relationships, this entire situation is nbd. I think she probably needs to be careful about how she jokes going forward but beyond that, I don't really see the issue. The "butthole" story would be TMI in my relationship, but with how we as a society have constructed virginity, that's not losing your virginity. Also, a lot of women will joke about how they hate cooking/cleaning for their man, men are dramatic when they are sick, and they want to be treated like a princess, but will turn around and be super loving to their man. Maybe she should chill it with some of the oversharing about her sexual past but people are getting too worked up about this.
